27 of November 2010 to the 26th of February 2011 – Art Museum-Araure Acarigua
A  curatorial project by Rolando J. Carmona, which has generated a library reading about photography, starting with the drive concept. Term widely developed in the psychoanalysis of the last century, Sigmund Freud and Lacan to argue their theories about desire, and sexual behaviors.

The exhibition  comprised  30 portraits of entertainers and models, with an  evident and continuous attempt to represent the desire, either from the intentions of the photographer in the captured image, or the ego of the photographed object displayed as  seduction.

The selection, brings an evocative set of photos from Canada, USA, Spain, and Venezuela for the first time exhibited in the country as a whole. Which highlights some of the great names of erotic photography in the twentieth century, as Americans Robert Mapplethorpe, Bruce Weber, Milton Greene, Herb Ritts, Annie Leibovitz and others.
